Keep Reading and Thanks

For some reason, the blog seems to be getting just a little more popular lately. I haven’t done anything different, and I am pretty sure the writing hasn’t improved to any great extent. I don’t try to entice people to read it and quite frankly, I wouldn’t know how to go about that anyways. Sure it would be nice to have hordes of followers that worshiped every word I wrote, but the certifiably insane have better things to do with their time. Probably…

The stats that I can see have jumped about 30 or 40 page views per day which I can attribute to someone or someones’ in Poland . Thanks! I don’t really know too much about Poland. I should know more, of the amazing history that the Poles all know, I know a little from Hollywood and the odd book that I have read that mentions Poland. It has been a long time since I was in school and even when I was the teachers had a hard enough time getting me to learn about Canada’s history and geography.

 

There are close to a million Polish people who have come to Canada for various reasons over the years and have been instrumental in building our country from the ground up. I suspect that a lot of them like my ancestors had trouble making a good life for whatever reason in the old country and came here as a last resort. I doubt that very many Canadians have moved to Poland, but that would be because we have yet to fill up our country. Yet.

The weird (to me) thing about my Polish readers is that they all seem to come to the blog through the same entry, Smart Clothes and Stupid Socks. I don’t know if they have book marked that particular blog or if they really, really, really like that one blog. It is possible that they are using the blog to learn English and if that is the case, glad I could be of help. I suppose that they are studying it for how not to write and speak English. I do hope they are having fun.

I get comments every now and then from “anonymous” on that blog. I don’t generally answer the comments because sometimes I am asked questions that I don’t know how to answer and the website I am directed to is generally dealing with how to enlarge a penis. How these people from another continent know is beyond me. I didn’t know that size could be deduced from my writing. Thanks, but no thanks. You are welcome to join the blog. There is no benefit to membership, but I’m not going to your website…ever.
